i recently recieved a sidekick 2 in the post which is supposed to be unlocked and im so siked about! ive put a tmob sim in and switched it on, and it has come up with: waiting for activation, a welcome screen will appear within 48 hours after. so im wonderin huh? im bit confused will it go to the main screen after 48 hours or what? if anyone could help me out wud be soooooo greatful

Ok, maybe I'm COMPLETELY over looking it, but I'm so getting stressed! : P Where is the 'stop' button for the media player on the SideKick 2008?? I can only pause songs, but how do I completely stop them without a stop function? Thank you!

every once in a blue moon my sidekick wipes all memory this is the second one that ive had does anyone know how to fix this?

will the new sidekick work for texting and everything but the internet without the data link plan? my little nephew wants one, he just dont need the internet right now, maybe when he is older. he just wants to be able to text and talk.

Will my screen get messed up if I continue to open my sidekick from the top right corner? I sometimes flip it from the bottom as well but I have noticed that If I don't flip it on the top and bottom it opens pretty hard. This happened to my sidekick 3. The sidekick 3 screen started to go past the marker that holds it from going any further. Will this happen on the LX?

Ok, so someone sold me their Sidekick and I'm having a few problems...
1. In my text message inbox, none of my saved contacts names come up, just their numbers...yet when I hit to reply, the name will show up of who I'm sending it to. What's up with that? 2. "Network Unavailable" is still popping up after I tried the solution listed on this site. 3. How do I set a different tone for text messages received so it's different from my incoming call sound? Sorry if it sounds dumb, but all I've ever owned are "free upgrade" phones... so this is my first "more complicated" phone, if you will. =] I also don't have an instruction booklet or else I would have referred to that ages ago! Thanks guys!!

i want to add themes to my lx but when i go to menu the themes menu does not show up and i have a macbook also can u tell me how to install the themes on a mac i tried it but as i said no themes bar comes up on the menu.

Hello all, I do appliance repair as a living and am looking for a phone / web browser that has a zoom function. When I need to look up schematics on the web, they are already small on a normal desktop. So my question is, Does the sidekick browser , ( or alternative) have a zoom function integrated into the features?
I do know that the bb does not. Thanx in advance BE
