make the sidekicks have an age difference... like ones for younger kids would have a tough durable outside and the adults would get something sleek, fashionable, and irresistable looking.. Heck a chrome silver or an chrome gold or some other color that hasn't been used yet... (i don't know what that would be yet... heck even black would look nice if it had more of an adult look and feel to it. shiney outside would look nice to me.. But you have to keep the swivel and the original outside design..... sort of like a revamped slide thats from Sharp but none of that slide crap and it would be just as big as the LX. Big as in size and popularity... I think the buttons on the slide are better made because I keep hearing about this bubbling up crap on the other phone... more than likely cuz air got in between the plastic and the actual buttons.. Its like fancy plastic wrap.. you are going to expect bubble if a hole gets into the outside....But yeah thats another suggestion.... make something that can't bubble up

1. for everyone in the cell phone abled areas in the world to be able to have a sidekick with service.
2. video on every sidekick
3. ability to store your own recordings and to use them as ringtones
4. a better megapixel camera
5. ability to watch video online
6. ability to upload video to the internet
7. ability to keep gif pics as gif
8. ability to put one of your own pics as the background directly on the device (like you could on another phone as the save as wallpaper option)
9. more community apps that dont involve collecting tmail addresses something like myspace or something else
10. have better visualizations with music player besides downloading visamp (like windows has that splash crap or whatever you call it)
11. ability to send more through bluetooth like the obex feature.. (sending pics and recorded sounds or music)(obveously not copywrited music though cuz we wouldn't want to get in trouble for that lol)
12. Radio on all sidekicks
13. Tv like other wireless providers have
14. ability to use a micro chip bigger than 4gb
15. more space for games and apps
16. ability to have more than 10 ringtones. (we pay for every ringtone we have)
17. ability to download ringtones from the net

How about...
1. gps system between you and your kids... like either to their cell or a child track thingy
2. no keyboards that can "bubble up" Me my self like the slide's keyboard... it wouldn't have the chance of "bubbling up"
3. a slightly taller and longer screen.
4. moving backgrounds (like a gif pic as a background)
5. Have it run faster... it lags so much sometimes
6. 3G!
7. A phonebook app (like not a contact but an actuall phone book app that does directions to places, phone numbers, and number search)
8. better social networks... like a facebook app
9. more games and apps and have the ability to have everyone with a sidekick able to access all of the sidekick games and apps
10. built in alarm clock.... i can't believe we actually have to pay for that... thats straight up ghetto!
11. a language learning app where u can learn other languages or a translator
12. TOUCH SCREEN!!!!

by the way are you guys actually gonna take these ideas into consideration when making a new sidekick or are we just wasting our time? I hope you do some of these ideas because honestly some of these ideas are good. Compared to some other phones the sidekicks are somewhat behind...

Everyone has a idea about how to improve the sidekick and what they want in a sidekick. Here's my list of wants for the next generation Sidek!ck.

The basics of course is to keep:

The Swivel screen
QWERTY Keyboard
The Trackball to change colors.
Music Player

But wouldn't be cool if the SK can add/improve on these features?

3g - The Sidekick should really have this. It'll save us a lot of time.
YouTube feature - If the SK can support Myspace, why can't they support YouTube or another Video website?
Speaker phone - T-mobile really needs to work on this. I can hardly hear anyone when I put them on speaker phone.
Video Recording - Better Quality and more than 30 seconds. At least 5 minutes.
Camera - 2 megapixel or higher at least.
TV*
Better WiFi
Touch screen* - That would be cool if the Sidekick had a touch screen. I heard they're making one and it was suppose to come out in November - January.
Picture/Video Messaging
Multiple IM
Looks Like the LX - I like the sleekness of the LX and the big screen.

18. a sidekick chat
19. ability to have a video as the background/walpaper
20. short video for my fav people
21. ability to use mp3s stored on the memory chip as ringtones
22. more mood lights (like a mood light bar around the screen and on the 4 corners of the sidekick like the lx or something... that would be cool)
23. extended life battery
24. an app that would allow you to hook up the sidekick via usb or bluetooth to a printer and print the pics out
25. an app that you could make your own themes on. ( i know theres sites for that, but you can't do it from the sidekick)
26. a tv/dvd remote app for changing channels and volume and playin dvds and all that (heck it could be done... )
27. pointer laser light...
28. touch screen.
29. the swivel screen to flip up and be able to turn 180 degrees (sort of like the hp pavillion tx2520us)
30. more 3d games
31. louder speakerphone
32. mood lights while playing music
33. waterproof case
34. better flashlight... like the mood light could get brighter and turn into a flashlight or something

YEAH I WANT TO TOTALLY ROCK THE SIDEKICK!!! I'LL BET IF THEY EVER CAME OUT WITH A SIDEKICK THAT DID ALL THESE THINGS IT WOULD PROBABLY BE ABOUT $600+
