frustrations with mysidekick
I like my sidekick, don't get me wrong... it's great for IM and not bad for POP email but I've recently been frustrated by a lot of the things it doesn't do well.
Accessing the web is slow (as on any wireless device that has to send and receive requests from towers that send and receive requests from satellites), limited memory, the poor quality screen and camera are causing me to look at other options...
Any suggestions?

I have the same issues as well and I have the Sidekick LX. I don't care for somethings as well. The camera is definitely a poor quality, no zooming feature, or special effects to do on the picture. I am coming from having motorola products majority and their camera's are supurb in my opinion. I truly hope the Sidekick slide which was made by motorola will keep that excellent quality going with this model. Sharp could learn a thing or two from Motorola at least in that aspect.
Also pics that I had on my microSD card for my Moto Rizr phone did not transfer over to my Sidekick. That pissed me off. so I've got to see what the deal is on that. There is really not as much freedom with the Sidekick when it comes to music that I am coming to find out with these Sidekicks. This of course is my first one and even though it is cool......I'm starting to miss my Moto Rizr already. Yet I do love the instant chats options with the AOL, MSN, Yahoo, and Myspace applications. Not to mention having your own email account made up for the Sidekick was a bit of a plus as well. Overall an interesting product but definitely room for improvement. |

Upgrade to the Lx and you will be extremely satisfied! It has crystal clear screen. About the memory... just buy a bigger memory card. I agree def. about the slow web. But most cells are.

yeaaa da sidekick has some flaw'z but wat phone doesnt? jus try to focus at da good points and not da bad one'z but yess u kan re-register, jus call tmobile customer care and dey will edit everything for u...
